Odd thing about Jason’s arrest is that he was using his real name and his social security number at his new job, the job he got after a warrant had been issued for his arrest. Also odd is that his brother vouched for him at the Chattanooga, Tennessee billiard club Jason started working at. So either both he and his brother are mentally ill and don’t understand how to keep a low profile after murdering someone. Or Jason has possibly killed before and has the serial killer mentality that he can do what he wants and get away with it. He and Amanda were still committing crimes after they murdered Dennis Abrahamsen on May 16. So here he was using his real name and didn’t change his appearance either.

On July 8, he interviewed for a job as a shift manager at Chattanooga Billiard Club, an upscale cigar lounge with billiards and darts. Two patrons — Andrews’ brother and a friend — vouched for him, manager Mike Schumaker told the Chattanooga Times Free Press.
Club owner Phil Windham, 61, said Andrews went through three rigorous interviews.
“He shined,” Windham said.
Andrews told Windham he’d been in the Marines for nearly 10 years and, after visiting Chattanooga, he fell in love with the town and wanted to stay. He said he was from Kansas. He was handsome, polite and articulate. Andrews — who gave his real name and Social Security number — was hired on the spot.
Windham, the Chattanooga club owner, said he was at a convention in Las Vegas when his employees called to tell him about Andrews’ arrest. They were shocked and upset. In his hotel room, Windham opened his laptop and searched Andrews’ name. He found the stories — and felt “duped,” he said.
Windham has been in business for 28 years, working as the sole employee at a small pub and growing it into an upscale club with two locations. He’s in the people business. And nothing about Andrews seemed off.
“I didn’t see anything that would raise a red flag,” Windham said. “He made eye contact. He was quick to answer questions.”
